Proposal and Implementation of Preventing Remote Controlled Malware from Attacking on IoT Devices

The aim of this study is to prevent dictionary attacks by performing dynamic IP filtering in collaboration with the operating system (OS). When an application notifies the OS that it is receiving a dictionary attack, the OS filters the source IP address and prevents the attack. In addition, using the OS as an intermediary, we can dynamically filter out the case in which the same device attacks multiple applications, or when a statically filtered port number or IP address is accessed.
